I have been in solo private anaesthetic practice for the last 9 years working in the Carletonville, Fochville, Potchefstroom hospitals. I also work in the ICU at leslie Williams Hospital. I have experience in hospital management, General Practice and Mine based Medicine. My career has taken me from Cape Town to Kroonstad in the Free State and from there to Rundu in Namibia. I joined AngloGoldAshanti at the end of 1989 for 3 1/2 years and then spent 19 months working in England where I focused on my anaesthetic skills. I then returned to South Africa for personal reasons and rejoined the mines in Carletonville.
